About the GEDIn Thailand, GED credential is accepted by Ministry of Education as high school equivalency (Mathayom 6) which can be used for college/university admission in many institutions including Thammasat University, Mahidol University, Bangkok University, and Assumption University (ABAC).GED consists of 5 subjects:1. Language Arts, Reading: Literary, Poetry, Drama, Prose, Critical Review, and Business Document2. Language Arts, Writing: Sentence Structure, Usage, Mechanics, and Organization3. Mathematics: Number & Operations, Geometry, Measurement & Data Analysis, and Algebra4. Science: Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and Physics5. Social Studies: US & World, History, Geography, Civics & Government, and EconomicsThe maximum point of each subject is 800. To pass the GED, there are 2 requirements:1. Score 410 or more in every subject2. Total score must equal to or exceed 2,250You need to complete both conditions to pass GED examination. For example, you score 420 in every subjects which make total score 2,100. In this case, you pass the first requirement but fail the second requirement, resulting in “Non-Pass” result.Student must pass all tests within one academic year.
